Holiday Farmers Market 2024

On the second Saturday in December, a Lawrence Holiday tradition occurs. Over 10,000 customers come to shop from over 40 regular season Lawrence Farmers Market Vendors. Customers come from all over to shop at this special open-air festive market.

This year, the Holiday Farmers Market was held once again at the Douglas County Fairgrounds’ Open Pavilion, where over 40 regular season LFM Vendors attended to showcase a "craftier" side of themselves. Our Vendors brought custom woodworks, creative kits, specialty treats, gift baskets, beautiful house plants, local winter produce, and hot food & drinks to sustain the serious Holiday shoppers. Customers spent the day shopping, eating, and mingling in our open air, covered Holiday Farmers Market.

San Dee Claus came all the way from the North Pole to visit with the kids! Limestone Community School kept them even further entertained with crafting stained glass snowflakes while parents shopped. We are so happy to see the whole family enjoying our Holiday Farmers Market!

Local musical groups added to the magic and ambience by performing everyone's favorite Holiday hits. The Lawrence Handbell Choir, Lawrence High School Chorale, The Porch Band, Hear and Now, and the Free State Chamber Singers really made for a festive shopping experience.

This year we added a free Gift Wrapping Station ran by local Girl Scout Troops 1571 and 5952 and the SWMS Junior Thespians.

Our Vendors truly enjoy this unique Holiday Market and love having one last opportunity to see their customers before the season is over.

This Market occurs every year, on the 2nd Saturday in December, in Lawrence, Kansas.
